Peren, February 7 (MExN): “Likeminded youths” from Peren District who share the same passion for travelling, adventure and most of all a better understanding of one’s own district is all set to undertake the ‘We Unite Tour’ within Peren District under the aegis ‘Team One’ from February 10.
It is planned at exploring and discovering the unknown besides the rich cultural heritage and huge land mass of Peren District, informed a press release issued by the Team One, Convener, Kengimpeuding Hegui. Apart from the thrill of travelling and recreational purposes, it is also the quest of the team to acquire first-hand knowledge about the various places of importance and to truly feel and understand the pulse of the district. To witness and have a better understanding of the social, educational and health standard of the different rural villages which are still far from modernization.
It also informed that slated to last about two to three weeks the team is all prep up and rearing to go the distance. It further adds that We Unite Tour is not aimed at bringing one stop solutions to the grievances of the rural villages but rather a survey to chalk out a long term strategies as to how we can each contribute towards creating social awareness and promoting our district which still remains backward even after 50+ years of statehood. “It is the common zeal of Team One members to contribute towards our better tomorrow that we have initiated this We Unite Tour to help unite our people in this common fight for social and economic upliftment,” stated the Team One.
The ‘We unite Tour’ is co- sponsored by Kuchi Rangkau, MD Hi Tech Constructions along with contributions from each member of the organization.
