Dimapur, December 16 (MExN): The foundation stone for new office complex of Tenyimi Union Dimapur was unveiled by Zhaleo Rio, IAS (Retd), Advisor, Sericulture, Excise & Minority Affairs at TUD Complex Dimapur on December 16.
The Media Secretary, NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II A/C in a press release said, speaking as the special guest, Zhaleo noted that Tenyimi people have come a long way since inception of the Union 46 years ago and advised the gathering to forge brotherhood ties through love and unity. “It is the time to spread love and positive attitude thereby sharing it not only among the 11 tribes but to the people around us in Dimapur and the Nagas in general,” he stated.
Lamenting that Nagas have the tendency to create negative vibes without rhyme or reason, he opined, “We should inculcate the good habits or practices of other tribes and people groups which will impact the society positively.” Zhaleo assured to lend his helping hand towards the construction of the new office complex and further advocated that all Tenyimi people should contribute their might as responsible members.
The function was chaired by Vekhosayi Nyekha, TUD President while Zakie Terhüja, Associate Pastor, TBC Dimapur, invoked God’s blessings and Building Committee Report was tabled by Tsathvü C Thevüry, Convenor, Building Committee. Rothihü Tetseo, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur and Razouvotuo Chatsu, President APO, exhorted the gathering while Neivi, President, TWUD, delivered the vote of thanks and Rev Peuhau N Hau, Pastor, Hindi Baptist Church Dimapur, pronounced the benediction.
