DIMAPUR, MAY 24 (MExN): The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) has reiterated its demand for the service termination of five “illegal appointments” under department of the Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force. A press release from the CTAN media cell made this demand in reference to an appeal letter dated December 3, 2019 and the rejoinder dated January 17, 2020 “for immediate termination of 5 illegal appointments.” It asked the department to take this letter as a final call to do the needful on or before May 31. The CTAN further reminded the department to requisite the posts occupied by the “illegal appointees” (5 Forester-1) and the 10 existing vacancies to NPSC on or before May 31, “as Forester-1 having a Grade Pay 2800, clearly fall under the purview of NPSC.” It cautioned that failure to do so would compel the CTAN and its units to take its own course of action democratically.
