Dimapur, May 30 (MExN): “With businesses around the world shutting down, the economy taking a severe hit and most countries being in lockdown, all of us are fighting COVID-19 the best way we can,” said Indian Oil Tanker’s Drivers’ Union, IOC Depot Nagaland President Jonathan Yepthomi in a press release.
However, in this pandemic, frontline worker community including doctors, medical staff, police, media and also the drivers are the warriors who are fighting this disease on the frontlines and are putting their lives at risk to keep us safe, he said.
In a bid to honour these frontline workers for their services, Yepthomi shared with a gesture to say ’Thank You’ with light refreshment.
He also expressed gratitude to members of Indian Oil Tankers Drivers Union. Without petrol and diesel every mode of transportation will be in vain, Jonathan said while assuring to provide every possible and necessaries help to the drivers.
