A book titled, ‘The Lost Mission’ authored by Pekingto Y Jimo was released at Hotel Saramati on November 27 by Advisor for School Education, K Tokugha Sukhalu.
Published by Maurice Wylie Media, Northern Ireland, the book entails a first-hand narration of the Naga national workers who went to China on ‘Alee Command’.
Releasing the book, Sukhalu appreciated the author for painstakingly visiting the veterans who went to China and documenting their narration. He observed that there was a huge difference between the national workers of the 1950s and 60s and the present national workers. “This is an interesting book and provides answers to a lot of things which we thought were correct,” Sukhalu said and opined that schools, colleges, institutes, researchers, tribal hohos and the Naga National Groups should look into the book.
The author, Pekingto acknowledged the publisher and those who assisted him in the bringing out the book.
