On 19th of Oct I had given a representation to the Director of DUDA to explain and clarify the reason behind non-implementation of Border Area Development Fund Scheme (BADF) of 2004-05 and Under Develop Area Development Fund Scheme (UDAF). Also, the reason behind non issue of work order and payment to the beneficiaries and contractors pertaining to the functioning in Pungro Block & Kiphire- Pungro 60 A/C as well.
However some Village Council Chairman’s & individuals has directly or indirectly replied on my queries and taken the matter in a negative attitude, which appeared in various local dailies. This is totally wrong.
Therefore let me clarify to the general public through the readers of the dailies with the following views and standing thereof.
A) I have given a representation to the Director of DUDA and met him personally in his office for massive misappropriation of public fund and running the department of DUDA into free style for massive corruption for which I asked the Director of DUDA to clarify the certain queries in public interest. However it has assumed that he could not reply till date means he admitted the Department failure in all fronts.
Therefore no individual authority or any village chairmen should burn their fingers in this issue and also no organization or authority can give a reply to my questions except Director DUDA.
B) it is also to clarify that I am not against T. Torechu sitting MLA nor running after DAN Governments failure or otherwise the honourable Chief Minister of Nagaland but in general public interest I am only standing before the door of Director DUDA the reason as to why the healthy financial allocation made by the Government for the interest of individual authority and blocking all the developmental progress for which it deserves the attention of the Director DUDA to clarify publicly without hesitation.
C) While T. Torechu MLA & chairman DPDB Kiphire was addressing the DPDB meeting, he has stated that due to lack of land in Kiphire Town the Transit Hostel construction was yet to be taken up.
Therefore I out rightly condemn such a lie meant to mislead the people. Hence I clarify that the day Director DUDA asked a land for construction of transit hostel at Kiphire Town within 5 minutes the land will be made available.
D) In spite of me submitting a public representation for such fraud and misuse of Public funds, that the Director of DUDA in his own accord has released the payment of Rs. 2800000/ (Twenty Eight Lacs) to MLA Torechu in the last week of October 2005, clearly shows the nexus between the elected member and bureaucrats of the DUDA Department who are misusing public funds and blocking all the developmental works.
Therefore such an exercise against the will of the people is criminal and questionable. Hence, as an eye opener we must see the true colour and hear the voice of the voices of truth and see how the general public are starving.
