This Christmas ‘remember the grieving family in prayers’

Kohima, December 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), President, K Therie on Wednesday made a call to ‘remember the grieving family in prayers, as we celebrate Christmas in the gloom of the Oting Massacre.’

In a press note, Therie prayed for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, “to be a reminder of God’s great love for us. “May we also remember that although he who repents and seeks forgiveness is forgiven by the Father, we must be careful not to repeat the mistakes we seek forgiveness for,” he said.

“Let us give thanks for His protection from the pandemic and remember the ones who did not make it through as we celebrate the season of joy, peace and love with all necessary precautions. May our celebrations be a reflection of Christ in our lives for others to see what we as Christians profess. May the season bring us to a meaningfully closer relationship with the Almighty God,” he conveyed while bringing Christmas and New Year greetings from all rank and file of NPCC.

NPF: The Naga People's Front (NPF) said that Christmas is a time for everyone to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

“It is a time to be joyous, to be ever grateful and thankful for all the many blessings that are bestowed in our lives.
