Dimapur, October 23 (MExN): A training programme on book keeping, accounting and GST for officials of line departments at NBHMs MUC on October 23.
The resource persons for the training programme were Daniel Changkiri, Principal/HOC, NIIT Dimapur Centre, Er Rishav Sethi, Consultant from Delhi and Bharati Kachari, Faculty NIIT Dimapur.
It was attended by a total of 19 officials from the Department of DUDA, Horticulture, Women Development, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Nagaland Bio-Resource Mission, Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission and Nagaland Handloom & Handcrafts Development Cooperation.
In the introductory session, Er Khuvozoyi, Deputy Team leader of Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission welcomed the participants to the training and gave a brief highlight on ‘Naturally Nagaland’.
He mentioned that it was launched in 2019 with the objective to facilitate marketing of finished and processed products of Nagaland which are being promoted by various Government Departments, Missions, NGOs, SHGs and private entrepreneurs. For all such finished products ‘Naturally Nagaland’ is a brand developed by the line departments and missions along with NGOs and private entrepreneurs in order to regulate the pricing and also to control the quality of all such products from Nagaland.
The training was therefore organized in order to equip the Officials on proper bookkeeping, accounting and GST.
During the day long programme, the resource persons covered topics such as a crash course on MS Office, Accounting with Tally, GST using Tally. The class sessions were followed by a productive interactive session with Trainees putting in their queries and feedbacks.
