Training for State Resource Group concludes

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): A two-day state level orientation training for State Resource Group (SRG) on ‘Incremental Learning Approach’ (ILA), conducted by the department of Social Welfare with the support from State project management unit (SPMU) of Poshan Abhiyaan, Nagaland at Hotel Japfü, Kohima on January 9 and 10.
SPMU Team, Poshan Abhiyaan, Department of Social Welfare in a press release stated that the orientation was attended by members representing all districts in Nagaland; the members included CDPOs and representative supervisors from each district along with three Swasth Bharat Preraks.
The master trainers included two members from CARE India. The training imparted was focused on “identification and referral of sick newborns”, “preventing illness to avert malnutrition and death” and “Prevention of anemia in girls and adolescents”. Members of the State Program Management Unit (SPMU) of Poshan Abhiyaan also attended the training.
The session concluded with revisiting on how to use and handle the training materials and modules, planning exercise for district resource group (DRG) training, post-test, feedback and overall consolidation.
