Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): A Christian Entrepreneurship Summit under the banner of ‘Transform Nagaland’ was held online over zoom on September 28 and 29.
The summit was organized by PAF consulting-a joint effort of Dimapur based organizations Pinnacle Skills, Apex Manpower Services Pvt Ltd and Friends of Poor.
The organisers stated in a press release that a total of 18 speakers from the church ministry, Christian entrepreneurs from Nagaland and also from other states and abroad spoke at the summit. Over 75 participants registered for the two-day summit.
The speakers at the summit were NBCC General Secretary Rev Zelhou Keyho, Director of Businessmen’s Fellowship of India Philip Samuel, Executive Secretary CBLT & Proprietor Eden Enterprises Rev Achu Chang, Additional Commissioner of Taxes Wochamo Odyuo, Director of Life Enterprises & Ministry Colo Mero, Proprietor & Principal Hope Academy Sashila Ozukum, Advisor BAM Global USA Joseph Vijayam, Managing Director Symbios Creations Pvt. Ltd. The summit, among other aspects, stressed on the need for Nagas to rise up as efficient entrepreneurs and businessmen with Christian values and be job creators as a society can be happy and productive when it is self sufficient.
The speakers also emphasized the need for the Church in Nagaland to take lead, promote and encourage entrepreneurship for the socio-economic development of the state as the Church is the largest organization in the state and is highly regarded by the people.
“The summit was a vision casting event and PAF consulting plans to groom Naga entrepreneurs and help develop sustainable businesses with the support of various stakeholders,” the organisers added.
