Dimapur, March 21 (MExN): The Dimapur District Excise duty party manning Dillai check gate, based on an intelligence tip-off, intercepted a vehicle (truck) which was bound for Senapati, Manipur on March 21.
On inspection of the vehicle, the duty party recovered 400 cases of assorted IMFL concealed under packets of edible oil, T Arilong Longkumer, Superintendent of Excise & Prohibition, Dimapur satted in a press release on Sunday. In this connection, one Kamrul Islam (28 years), R/o New Showuba, Dimapur was arrested and booked under the relevant sections of the NLTP Act 1989, the release added.
