Dimapur, April 14 (MExN): The Tenyimi Union Dimapur (TUD) has resolved to welcome and support what it termed as the State Government’s “decision to shift the Deputy Commissioner Office Dimapur to Chumukedima in the larger interest of the people of the district and for all the practical purposes.”
The resolution was passed during its meeting held on April 9, stated a press release from TUD’s Media Cell.
The union appealed to all Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and all the right thinking citizens of the district to consider and give moral support towards the issue objectively from the prospective of accessibility, convenient and the scope of future development, it said.
TUD further requested to the Government to implement its proposed decision without further delay, it added.
