Tuensang, May 25 (MExN): The Tuensang police has installed ‘Feedback/complaint and suggestion boxes' in various locations of Tuensang town as a means to interact with citizens during the pandemic.

According to a press release from the office of Tuensang Superintendent of Police on Tuesday, the town’s denizens have been finding it difficult to register their complaints, and share their problems with police especially at a time when public gatherings and visiting offices and public places have been restricted owning to the pandemic. As such, it said that the DEF Tuensang came up with feedback boxes to address the problem.

The boxes have been placed in five locations—Near Welcome gate, at the clock tower, Bazar point, at the High School  junction and St John junction, it informed.

While inaugurating the initiative, Tuensang SP Amit Nigam said that anyone can drop their complaints, suggestions, feedback or anything they want to share with police in these boxes. This will be directly monitored by SP office Tuensang on daily basis and promt action will be taken, he added.

During the inaugural programme, SDPO Tuensang, Crime Branch Tuensang, and the newly revamped Quick Response Team were present, the release stated.
