Tuensang DPDB clears agenda for March

Tuensang, March 7 (MExN): Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting chaired by Kumar Ramnikant, DC & Vice Chairperson, DPDB Tuensang was held at DC’s Conference Hall Tuensang on March 6.

A DIPR report stated that agendas discussed included proposal for creation of a Sub-Jail and Fire and Emergency station at Shamator ADC HQ and recognition of class VIII of Temjen Memorial School Kuthur which were decided to be forwarded to the concerned department for approval.

The house discussed the forthcoming by-election of 51 A/C. The chairman requested all HODs to give full cooperation and also asked to submit the employee and vehicle list of the respective department for election purposes.

The DC also appraised the house on the 3rd phase of COVID vaccination processes. CMO Tuensang Dr Moa highlighted the scenario of vaccine and vaccination processes to the members of the house.

The plan for the badminton renovation project on contribution will be starting in the following weeks which were informed to the members by District Fishery Officer, Tuensang Rongsenkumzuk.

The house decided to propose for installation of a treatment plan at the dumping site and DC and Vice Chairman DPDB asked the PHED Department for routine check of quality of water downstream.

The directives of the Planning and Coordination department for the development of public parks at district HQ were discussed and two spots were earmarked for the establishment for the same.
