A meeting of the Tuensang DTF for COVID-19 was held on February 6.
TUENSANG, FEBRUARY 7 (MExN): The Tuensang District Task Force (TDTF) for COVID 19 held a meeting at DC’s conference hall Tuensang on February 6. The meeting was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, DC Tuensang and Chairman, TDTF.
The District Immunization Officer highlighted that a total of 335 health care workers were vaccinated in 10 sessions and 9 more sessions will be conducted for health care workers during the first phase.
She said that a total of 5,052 front line workers have registered for the second phase vaccination processes. For the first round of second phase, employees of DC office, Police and Urban Departments are earmarked, she informed, further asking the departments to submit the beneficiary list who are already registered for approval for the session. 100 beneficiaries are set to be immunized per session.
The members also discussed on the loopholes in the vaccination processes and the DC stressed on the need for awareness campaigns in local platforms.
