A four-day exposure visit to Tuensang district for 12 farmers from Sendenyu, New Sendenyu and Thongsunyu villages under Tseminyu block was organized by NEIDA. The visiting farmers were hosted by the Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS), Tuensang. During the visit the farmers were oriented on orchard management and the role of community participation and Farmers Producers Group for ensuring successful agri based income generating activities. The visiting farmers expressed that they will implement in their own villages the good practices being followed by the farmers in Tuensang and that they will be sharing with their fellow farmers what they have learnt.
