Kiphire, April 1 (MExN): Security forces in a joint operation with Police apprehended two GPRN/NSCN cadres and one drug peddler in general area Tethyo Junction, Kiphire District, Nagaland on March 28.
According to a press release from the Assam Rifles, 12 gms of heroin (approximate cost Rs 1.2 lakh), 20 Buprenorphine tablets, two mobile phones, one motorcycle (Bajaj Pulsar) and cash of 1000 Myanmar Kyat near Tethyo Junction, Kiphire.
The apprehended individuals along with recoveries have been handed over to Pungro Police Station, Kiphire for further investigation, the release added.
