TYO warns to take action against anyone committing ‘offence’ within its jurisdiction

Dimapur, July 6 (MExN): Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation (TYO), Kohima Village has informed that despite the ban imposed by the organisation on hunting, collection of flora and fauna, cutting of trees, firewood, fishing, dumping of earth/waste, partying, extraction of water/water pipe connection, etc., many people have been found violating the aforesaid order.  

“Apart from that, many people are found loitering in the fields and committing various offences,” stated TYO social & cultural secretary, Ruokuosietuo Whuorie and information & publicity secretary, Kevichütuo Solo.  

Therefore, TYO has informed the public, especially the citizens of Kohima, that in order to protect and preserve the environment and ecosystem, the organisation would continue to check and penalize any person found violating the order within the traditional jurisdiction of the Khel.  

As such, the general public has been requested to cooperate and assist the oganisation in checking such activities for the betterment and welfare of all.  

Stringent action would be taken against anyone found committing any offence, TYO warned.
