Dimapur: The much acclaimed Tyrannus Halls ministry, which was started in the fifties by an American Navy chaplain Dr. Charles Corwin, has reached Dimapur. Launching the session for students at its new facility at DC court area, Dimapur, Chairman of Dimapur Tyrannus Hall, Rev. Dr. Coppe Mero stated that the primary purpose of the hall is to make student Disciples of Christ and responsible citizens of the country.
According to a press release, the chairman also informed that several have already started applying for seats, and urged parents and students to apply immediately before the seats run out at the “quality and affordable residential hall.”
Dr. Mero was accompanied by members of the management board: M. Kikon, retired government official and educationist; Bukchem Phom, commissioner of RTI and former minister; Thepfuzekuo Khatsu, Geologist, Dr. N.R. Newmai, retired Medical Superintendent; Wochamo, Deputy Commissioner of Taxes; Rev. Bonny Resu, general secretary, Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF) and the consultant for Dimapur Tyrannus Hall; and Mark Herie, the warden.
