Kohima, December 10 (MExN): Thenyizumi Youth Social Welfare Organisation (TYSWO) will be celebrating its 50th golden jubilee from December 14 to 18 at Thenyizu village ground under Phek district. MLA Dr Chotisuh Sazo will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while Zhothisa Dawhuo, Director, Nagaland State Lotteries as the guest of honour for the closing ceremony.
Marketing the occasion, chief guest will declare the golden Jubilee open by hoisting the organisation flag and unveiling the Jubilee Monolith Stone in the inaugural function on December 14 at 9.00 am, lighting of the torch tournament by first youth president Vekhwutso Resu and release of the souvenir by Sulupoyi Swiho, co-convenor souvenir committee.
press release from the youth president Veseta Swuro stated that during the celebration, various events like football, volleyball, basketball, track events and field events, including wrestling will be held with a total prize of Rs 3.50 lakhs. In this regard, the organization has invited all the citizens of Thenyizumi and well wishers to attend the said program.
