MOKOKCHUNG, JULY 9 (MExN): A district level workshop on U-WIN was held on July 10 at the conference hall, office of the Chief Medical Officer’s office.
Dr Kibangkumba CMO in his opening remarks said the programme is especially for pregnant women and plays a very important role; and also informed that Nagaland is first in the country to conduct this training of trainers programme.
The resource persons of the program were Kingson Kamkara, SPO (UNDP); Rajesh K Monsang, RPO (UNDP); and Dr Takosunep, DPO (UIP&RCH). The participants were trained on U-WIN – objectives of pilot, guiding principles and expectations, advantages of a digital system, case study and hands on practice and the different modules related to it.
U-WIN is a digital solution platform to facilitate tracking of every pregnant woman, newborn, child and adolescent for vaccination.
