A song being presented during the silver jubilee celebration of the Junior Christian Youth Endeavour, Union Christian Revival Church.
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 31 (MExN): The Junior Christian Youth Endeavour, Union Christian Revival Church, New Market, Kohima celebrated its silver jubilee with the theme 'Be Strong and Work: For I am with you' from January 29 to 31.
In the Sunday morning worship service, Kikrunielie Yiese, Associate Pastor of the Church shared the words of God. He said Jubilee is a time to look back, to re-examine our lives, and to renew our faith, so that one may grow towards a deeper Christian life. He also said Jubilee is a time to reconcile and celebrate, a time to renew faith and a time of new beginnings. Jubilee is a joy based on the forgiveness of sins, the joy of conversion and reconciliation, he added.
The main speakers of the jubilee included Rev Dr DL Sanchu, Ex Secretary Central NCRC; Kikruneilie Yiese, Associate Pastor and Vetalü Keyho, Church Secretary.
Earlier, on January 29 the jubilee monolith was unveiled by Pastor Zhabu Gweirie.
