Unity College of Teacher Education held an interactive session on the theme “Amplifying Abilities, Embracing Differences” for faculty, staff, the Principal, and third-semester B.Ed students of the 2024–2026 batch.
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 14 (MExN): Unity College of Teacher Education (UCTE) held an interactive session on August 12 with the theme “Amplifying Abilities, Embracing Differences” for faculty, staff, the Principal, and third-semester B.Ed students of the 2024–2026 batch.
The resource person, Mesenipongpongen (Apong), Managing Director of 7 Heven, Dimapur, shared his personal journey of living with cerebral palsy, urging participants to never give up, to keep moving forward despite slow progress, and to embrace the uniqueness of every student by teaching them in ways they can best learn.
The programme was led by Meribeni Patton, followed by a prayer from Bilgah T. Principal Dr Akhala Longkumer welcomed the resource person and his family, while Sungmonoksen B. Chang presented a special song. The session concluded with words of gratitude from Madulika Kumari.
According to the organisers, the event left the UCTE community encouraged, challenged, and inspired with fresh perspectives for the future.
