‘Unsatisfied’ with educational system, CSUTT to inspect schools

Tuensang, April 6 (MExN): The Chang Students' Union Tuensang Town has informed that a ‘surprise checking’ will be conducted in private and government educational institutions within its jurisdiction.

In a press release received on Tuesday, the union stated that it had been witnessing an “unsatisfied handling of educational system and detecting various malpractices by few teachers such as negligence of duties, absenting with no genuine reason, unwanted replacement, drawing salaries without performing their assigned duties, etc.”

The release stated that the union would impose a “No work, No pay” action against erring teachers over the course of the checking, and invited citizens to send complaints to the union if such practices and negligence are found.

The union further stated that the course of action may include “explanation calls/reporting to concern department or whatsoever deemed fit.” Stating that the checking is necessitated in order to “change the present trends of educational system” the CSUTT asserted that “there will be no compromise to erring staff.”
