The Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Seikhazou, D Khel, Kohima village conducted free health camp here at Kitsubozou Panchayat on March 12.
Kitsubozou Panchayat Chairman Vimhalie Pienyü informed that the team was led by Dr Bilva Yalie, Medical Officer, UPHC Seikhazou.
Altogether, 40 persons availed the free medical check-up for diabetes, blood pressure and other general illness. Free medicines have also been provided to them.
Dr Bilva Yalie also talked about awareness on COVID-19 and also shared on the necessity for people above 60 years to receive COVID -19 vaccinations.
During an interaction with the Panchayat leaders, the Medical Officer assured to conduct more of such camps.
Meanwhile, Kitsubozou Panchayat lauded the team of health officials and doctors from UPHC Seikhazou for conducting the camp for the benefit of the residents.
