
Kohima, May 14 (MExN): The Ura Academy (UA) is scheduled to organised 53rd Tenyidie annual seminar from May 24-26 under theme 'Mother Tongue; The power of our thought' at Ura Academy Hall, Mission Compound Kohima
A press release issued by the organisers informed that the inaugural session on May 24 will be graced by Tenyimi People's Organization (TPO) as guest of honour and the TPO president Timikha Koza will address the inaugural session while exhortation will be delivered by Deo Nukhu, member board of directors, Ura Academy.
On May 25 there will be orientation programmes, wherein key note address will be delivered by Kikruneinuo Liezietsu, Joint Secretary, Ura Academy while the resource persons will be Prof. Buno Liegise, HoD Department of Education, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Meriema; Dr Khotole Khieya, Assoc Professo, Department of Education, Nagaland University Kohima Campus, Meriema; Dr Metseilhouthie Mor, Asst Professor, Pfütsero Govt College, Phek and Vizonyü Liezietsu.
The Directorate of school education has directed all Modern Indian Language Tenyidie and Nagaland Heritage Studies Tenyidie Teachers to participate in the said program.
Meanwhile on May 26, Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho (TKK) conference will be held wherein competitions on debate, essay writing competition, choir competition among high school and higher secondary schools, poetry writing competition and story writing competition. Project Director of TaFMA, Dr Hovithal Sothu will address the gathering in the importance of music and it's scope.
Later in the evening, a valedictory function of the three day event will be held which will be presided by Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu, President Ura Academy and Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie, Treasurer of Ura Academy.
Further, the organisers have requested the Tenyidie wellwishers, elders, teachers, church leaders, students bodies and organisations to be a part of the programme.
