Views on anti-conversion Law

India is a country inhabited by people of different religions, castes and language attributing to its richness and vivacity, as also its diversity. In this scenario of diversities, what is of outmost importance is the basic sense of unity and integrity that binds together the people all over the country. Unity in diversity is a unique feature of India. The India constitution is first and foremost a social document, under Article 25 “Right to freedom of religion” of the India constitution all persons are equally entitled to freedom of conscience and right freely to profess, practice and propagate any religion subject to public order, morality and health. There is no “state religion” nor can the state confer special patronage on any particular religion.

National BJP president Rajnath Singh has recently said, he has asked all the BJP ruled states to enact the anti-conversion laws on the line of Rajasthan. He told all the Chief Minister of BJP- ruled states to enact anti- conversion law. He lauded the Rajasthan Government for enacting an anti- conversion law. His and the BJP-ruled states ideology against other religion especially Christian is completely detrimental to the fundamental rights of the people and the law of the land. People very often says that India maintains the principle of unity in diversity”. BJP has clandestinely trying to oppose its  strategy to other religion which will lost its name and popularity in every part of the country particularly in Christian dominant states of South India and North Eastern states.

Their anti-conversion law and physical action upon and against on Christian will decidedly disturb the stability and political affairs of BJP in the whole country to get political power at the centre as well as at all states Legislative Assembly. We pray and hope other secular political parties other than Rajnath Singh party within a five years term to overcome all these negative plans and actions and continue to keep up the guiding rule of ‘Unity in diversity’ in our vast country India.
