Dimapur, October 29 (MExN): The North Eastern Council (NEC) as a part of its effort to promote integrity and to achieve a corruption free society, observes Vigilance Awareness Week every year. This year the week is being observed from October 27 to November 2 on the theme ‘Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat’ (Vigilant India, Prosperous India).
A four-day long Vigilance Sensitization programme commenced with integrity pledge on October 27 administered by Prof B K Dutta, Member, NEC and will be followed by the Seminar/Workshop for sensitization of officers and staff about the role of vigilance in the development of a nation and written quiz and poster making competition on the theme on October 28 and 29 respectively. The awareness week will be concluded with the talk competition on the theme and the felicitation program for the competition winners will be held on November 2, a DIPR report informed.
