Kohima, February 7 (MExN): The Vikehie Welfare Society (VWS) Viswema under the aegis of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways started a road safety advocacy programme on February 6 along National Highway- 2.
On the first day of the road safety advocacy programme, youth volunteers from Viswema village distributed road safety pamphlets to 578 drivers.
VWS Viswema Chairman, Eyosa Kikhi highlighting details and schedules of the program, expressed gratefulness to the MoRTH for selecting VWS to organise the road safety advocacy programme. He also appreciated the Transport Commissioner Nagaland and Kohima Traffic police personnel for extending support towards the conduct of the advocacy programme.
