KOHIMA, APRIL 14 (MExN): In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024 and in compliance to the directive received from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer Nagaland, Kohima, Phek Deputy Commissioner and DEO informed that Webcasting Control Room has been set up at the Office of the DC & DEO, Phek to monitor the feeds on webcast on the day of Poll.
The following officials have been assigned for each Assembly Constituency under Phek District.
Sapna Sharma, DIA/NIC- overall in-charge, Pokhotso Keyho, C/H, Election Office (16-Pfutsero AC, Mezutsho Wetsah, C/H Election Office (17-Chizami AC), Mewepe, Network Assistant INC (18-Chozuba AC), Atolu Lohe, LDA DC Office (19-Phek AC) and Sentimar, Network Assistant NIC (20-Meluri AC).
Those officials/staffs shall monitor the following at the Polling Stations assigned to them - Any anomaly happening inside the polling booth, Elector staying for too long inside the polling booth, an elector going into a polling booth for multiple times and observance of any law and order situation inside the polling booth.
Any anomaly detected shall be quickly informed to the concerned Presiding Officer first for taking corrective measures.
If there is any shortcoming in the response from the concerned Presiding Officer, then the Sector Magistrate shall be informed. If the same issue arises, the ARO and then the DEO shall be informed accordingly for further necessary action. Monitoring shall begin from 5:30 AM till the completion of poll.
