Weshen Theological College (WTC), an institution under the auspices of the Chang Baptist Lashong Thangyen (CBLT), observed its 15th Commencement Ceremony on April 16. The event, held at the Conference Hall of CBLT in Tuensang Town, was graced by dignitaries, graduands, faculty, board members, family members, church leaders, and well-wishers.
In the commencement address, L Sungmo, Administrator of EMRS, Tuensang encouraged the graduating class as they embarked on their journey beyond academia.
In his speech, Rev Achu Chang, Executive Secretary, CBLT underscored the importance of commitment and service in the graduates' lives, urging them to carry forth the values instilled within them during their time at Weshen Theological College.
The valedictory speech was delivered by Benjongsangla Chang, reflecting on the challenges and triumphs of their academic journey.
The ceremony also witnessed the conferring of awards, recognizing excellence in various facets of academic and spiritual life.
Benjongsangla Chang was honoured with the Academic Excellence Award, the Scripture Award, and the distinction of Best Preacher, while Yampemongko Chang received recognition for Excellent Christian Living, and Senti Sangla was acknowledged for General Contribution.
Earlier, the ceremony was chaired by C Siponglemla, Lecturer, WTC and commenced with invocation by L Ongmang, Pastor Yungkük Baptist Church.
