What do you think is the primary cause of the rise in educated unemployment in Nagaland?

Economic factors-lack of job opportunities:
•    The syllabus and curriculum is still preparing the educated youth for clerical jobs instead of the changing dynamics of the time.

Education system not aligned with job market:
•    Our education system is not practical for employment. Mere degrees & certificates are useless in this age. Our institutions are mostly producing unemployable graduates; Lack of dignity of labour and discipline; until and unless we think and act beyond the ‘over revered government jobs’ there will be massive unemployment problem in our State.

Government policies and initiatives:
•    Irrelevant qualifications principally promoted by the church. Non application of mind to what industries can excel in Nagaland. Investment to 3 districts at the expense of everyone else. Corruption from top to bottom.

Other (please specify):
•    Youth do not want to get out of their comfort zones. They do not want to explore the possibilities. I have so many people I know of, who are just wasting their years preparing for competitive exams. They're almost 30 but still leeching of their family. Career opportunities aren’t just available here in Nagaland. If one has a mindset to move out of Nagaland, work and send the income back to Nagaland to bring development to our own hometown. Why not? I'm someone who has been working outside of Nagaland for the past 4 years and I send money back home so I can develop my own property. A drop of water can make a mighty ocean. If many are willing, I'm sure Nagaland will look like a wealthy state even to the tourists. There's a reason why NRI get so much benefits for investment schemes and tax free accounts. Why? Because the government knows that the money earned is not from India and from a foreign land. Bringing in wealth from another country? Why not? Same logic goes for our own Nagaland.
•    All because of back door appointment in each and every departments starting from driver, sweeper and peon who never shows up the deserving candidates are still jobless and it will continue to go on if one doesn't stand up for your own rights. Just forget about having good colleges. Nagaland being one of the most corrupted state with no unity among people to stand firmly for truth and justice. Nagaland lacks a lot in every segment. It will take another millions of years to see the changes if chosen a good leader who can transform not only his life but others life too with proper use of fund in rebuilding and restoration i.e. initiating good factories or industries will open up job opportunities. Providing free entrepreneurial training program on quarterly basis in their own respective districts instead of Guwahati for self employment with PMEGP fund for right and hard work candidates. There's so much that can be done with corrective measures. All we need is a good leader but public interest is only on money. So no matter how much we complaint about bad roads, irregular electricity, water clogging, smelly drainage and unhygienic dumping sites in every nook and corner. It is public's "FAULT" for choosing Money over a Good Leader.
•    All the above
•    Point No. 2 &. 3. One of the major contributors is our education system. This system of education is only aimed to increase the literacy rate but not to truly skill students to support his living. 3 because the government of the day is not willing to create a conducive environment for beginners. There is absolutely no political will to accommodate our young guns in the eco-systems. Had it been there than those in power will be giving soft loans to the beginners and also creating minimum required infrastructures.
•    2 & 3 apart from youths not being able to explore themselves with the jobs available in the state, it may be due to laziness or being comfortable with the easy life they are living. The colleges in the state should not promote coaching class for govt. Jobs instead they should focus more on upbringing the young minds to explore themselves in other jobs opportunity such as in the private sector. They should promote entrepreneurship etc.
•    Lack of Avenues?
•    Because Nagas youths are behind only state Government job. The ST quotas in different central jobs are filled by different states as we educated Nagas don’t want to work outside.
•    Corruption. Because of extreme corruption, no private companies dare to find their way into Nagaland, and to depend only on government for job is unrealistic at all.
•    All of the above and terrible implemented unsustainable ecosystems.
•    Poor political imbalance, unregulated tax.
•    Too many self styled Government in Nagaland is the main reason no Industry or Company wants to venture in Nagaland and secondly running after Government jobs only is also the reason and lastly laziness is the main factors for jobless
•    Be it educated or uneducated, unemployment depends on self. If one is really educated, he can never be unemployed. Only availing government job is not employment.
•    Due to unresolved indo- Naga political issues, there is zero investors, hampered to small and mirco business, industrialization and many more.
•    Others - Lack of Quality Education to compete with the mainland educated youths.
