“There is no sickness too worst God cannot heal it, no sin too big God cannot forgive it”
DIMAPUR, FEB 25 (MExN): ‘What a wonderful God we serve for He heals the sick and forgives our sins.’ On the second day of the festival, the congregation praised the Lord for they have not only heard but also seen the miracles of God from their own eyes as three people who were suffering from various diseases were healed on the first night of the Prayer Festival.
The service on the second day was made more special with the presence of Rev.Dr.Paul Dhinakaran’s two daughters; Sweety and Sharon as they sing praises to the Lord and prayed for the young people below 15 years. Sharon invited the congregation to ‘taste and see that the Lord is good’, a God who is great and who gave His life for the sinners on the Cross of Calvary. She questioned the congregation, if God can take away the troubles and worries of the entire world then why not yours?
Dhinakaran, before he delivered his message, expressed his happiness to be in the presence of God and said, ‘We love God because He loved us first’. While inviting the large congregation of about 20000 people to see God he declared, ‘God is answering your prayer and He is doing miracles for you’. With people from all state attending the festival he said, ‘the whole of India is in Nagaland and the whole of Heaven is also in Nagaland’. Speaking on the topic, ‘Fountain of Healing’ he said God’s healing power goes with God where ever He goes and that He heals people everywhere. While declaring that ‘God is here’ he said ‘His healing power is also here’. ‘You can touch Him, you can feel Him and you can draw His healing power to yourself’ he said and further asked the congregation to get ready to be healed. He further said that God is the provider of everything, ‘blood, bread and blessing and provider of everything’ while saying God led millions of Israelites into the ‘Promised Land’ with the greatest thing being ‘no one was sick, no one was weak’ said Dhinakaran. While pointing out that God can heal all types of diseases, all types of people and chased the devil from demon possessed men, he said, ‘yes, that is God’ for He will bless you, your bread and water and will forgive your sins. He asked the congregation not to be troubled for ‘God is near to you and He is reaching out His hand for you’ before reminding the gathering that God do not want anything from the people for the people has come in search of Him.
‘He who believes in Him will live even after death’ he said and added you don’t need to touch Jesus to get healed but to just open the heart for Him to come in. “I will make all thing new, your mind, your body for your body is the Holy Temple of God” he said and asked the congregation to receive the Holy Spirit.
There will be a special prayer for the young people on Sunday after the morning service where Rev.Dr.Dhinakaran has invited everyone to join the service.
