DIMAPUR, AUGUST 4 (MExN): The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) and Kuhuboto Ghakhu Public Organization (KGPO) has condemned the kidnapping and murder of a fifteen year-old boy, and has demanded punishment of the highest degree on the perpetrators with no leniency shown to them. A press note issued by WSH general secretary, Vikato K Achumi stated, “Our compassion and forgiving spirit has only harvested more boldness and more crimes which have been taken for granted by some anti-socials from our community and immigrants residing in our land.” It said time has come to “set things straight in a right perspective and a befitting action shall be taken in due course of time.” The WSH has also cautioned that anyone attempting to bail out the accused under any circumstances would be doing at their own risk. In a separate press statement, KGPO president, Ghoshito Shohe and general secretary, Z Ato has strongly objected to the release of the accused persons on bail and urged the law enforcing agency to put all efforts and spare no means to punish the culprits as deemed fit.
