Zunheboto, (MExN):The SADPE Zunheboto conducted a five day training programme from August 23 to 27 here. Around 40 teachers from different institutions attended the training programme sponsored by SCERT, SADPEN and the Education department to create AIDS and Drugs awareness among the people.
The resource persons for the programme were Dr. Vinito Joint Director, NSACS, Mr. Kegwolo TRA SCERT and Dr.Yetovi.
The DEO Zunheboto, Tohoshe was the Guest of Honour at the valedictory service. He said that an AIDS and Drugs free society could be achieved by training the teachers who are the backbone of the society, besides moulding and teaching the next generation in the way they should go.
He further said that the department with the TOT’s will continue to organise such programmes to create awareness in every corner of the district.
