Zunheboto, December 12 (MExN): The Zunheboto Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ZCCI) on Saturday informed shopkeepers in the district that a mass social work would be conducted on December 15. In this regard, all the shopkeepers have been directed to clean their own establishment and its surrounding. Any business person failing to adhere with this shall be penalized, the ZCCI informed in a press statement.
The directive was issued after an emergency meeting held at the ZCCI office on December 11.
In the meeting, the ZCCI also resolved that there would be total restriction on any kind of donation and collection in any form by individuals or organizations during the festive season.
The ZCCI further directed the shopkeepers to keep adhering to the district administration’s order banning firecrackers in the district.
With the pandemic still prevailing, the shopkeepers were also reminded to keep wearing masks in their shops and to practice continuous washing of hands.
The ZCCI also extended Christmas and New Year greetings to the citizens of Zunheboto.
