Kohima, December 21 (MExN): The Zhadima Village Women Society (ZVWS) is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary on December 31 at Zhadima Community Hall.
ZVWS President Zevizonuo Sanchu, informed that Viliebei-ü Theünuo, Pastress, AG Church Zhadima Basa, will grace the occasion as the speaker.
Highlighting the significance of the milestone, Sanchu urged all women members of the community, residing across the state, to attend the celebration and be part of this historic moment. She also urged all attendees to wear a piece of traditional attire to honour the cultural heritage of the Angami tribe.
The ceremony will commence with a prayer by Kereisie-ü Theünuo, followed by a congregational song led by Mhasizolie Metsei-o with Menuolhounuo Sanchu as the pianist. ZVWS General Secretary Neizonuo Soliezuo, will present a brief history of the organisation, highlighting its journey over the past five decades.
A moment of silence will also be observed to pay tribute to the departed leaders of the women’s body.
Neilalhoulie Soliezuo, Chairman of the Zhadima Village Council, will extend greetings, while Roko Angami, VDB Secretary, will exhort the gathering.
