The Zunheboto DC conducted a series of meetings with construction firms regarding several road projects.
ZUNHEBOTO, NOVEMBER 15 (MExN): Reaffirming the development of road construction under Zunheboto District, the Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo convened a series of consultative meetings on November 7 and 12.
The meeting was held with the Zunheboto Area Public organization (ZAPO), National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (NHIDCL) officials, Department of National Highways Officials, Madhucon Company Pvt Ltd, M/s Multibuilder, Awomi Enterprise, and Vertex Construction.
A press release from the ZAPO informed that assurances were given for completion of construction projects as per the specification before the lapse of validity of the contracts.
Madhucon Company Pvt Ltd assured that the stretch of road at Zunheboto town which is under Chakhabama-Zunheboto Km 50 – Km 115.53 would be completed by March 31, 2021.
M/s Multi Builder is set to complete soiling and metaling of NH 702(A) Asukho - Zunheboto (Km 40 – Km 53 by December 2020).
Awomi Enterprise meanwhile assured to complete repair and carpeting on Alaphumi to Pioneer Camp (Near Kitsakita) Km 16 – Km 35 by March 2021; while Vertex Construction is set to complete repair and strengthening works on Pioneer Camp (Near Kitsakita) to Ashepeto (Near Asukhomi) Km 35 – Km 40 by either March or October 2021.
ZAPO President thanked the Deputy Commissioner for his seriousness towards the lifeline of the district headquarters and the different enterprises who have assured completion of the works within the stipulated time frame.
