10 more COVID-19 cases in Nagaland 

Dimapur, August 17 (MExN): With 10 fresh COVID-19 cases, Nagaland’s cumulative tally of cases rose to 35,883 on Wednesday. The cases were detected from among 73 samples that were tested in the last 24 hours.

Five of the new cases were in Dimapur district, four in Kohima, while Mon reported a single case, according to the IDSP’s daily health bulletin.

On the other hand, at least eight patients- Mon (3), Longleng (2), Mokokchung (2), and Dimapur (1) - recuperated from the disease, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,568. No fatalities were reported on Wednesday and the death toll remains at 771.

The state has an active caseload of 30, out of which 16 are said to be asymptomatic, 12 have mild symptoms, and two are admitted in ICUs.
