DIMAPUR, JUNE 5 (MExN): The Phek District Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers Union (PDNCSU) has raised concern over the sluggish work progress of the road construction firm Madhucon Projects Limited on the ongoing two-lane SARDP Project of Pfustero-Phek and Zero point to Zunheboto.
A press release issued by PDNCSU president Kuzhosheyi Soho Alex and Razou Lohe stated that till now, besides the ongoing earth works done by some local contractors, the firm has not installed any machineries or testing lab as such.
Holding the DPM of Madhucon Company responsible for the lack of conviction and commitment and going against their agreement despite several appeals, the Union has appealed the concerned company to replace the DPM with a more capable person who can work with conviction and commitment towards the project.
It also forbade the said DPM from entering Phek District with immediate effect. The Union meanwhile expressed satisfaction on the work progress of 2 firms namely KKB and Shivalaya.
