30th general conference of Ezonmontsu-Rui held

Wokha, November 17 (MExN): The 30th general conference of Ezonmontsu-Rui was held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Wokha on November 13. According to a DIPR report, Ezonmontsu-Rui is a cluster of clan comprising of Nine (9) brothers, namely Humtsothung (Humtsoe), Kithamo (Kithan), Ngullio (Ngullie), Shitio (Shitiri), Tungo (Tungoe), Mozhuo (Mozhui), Enni-Kinghen, Rangphamo/Rangthang and Lapomo (Lapon).

The speaker, Transport Commissioner, Elias T Lotha, called for forgiveness and reunion among one another to build a better relationship and strong foundation among us. He stated that we must renew and revive ourselves and live according to the will of God so that we will have a brighter future. “We should know our responsibilities in everything we perform to have God’s presence in our lives,” he added. 

Commissioner & Secretary, K Libanthung Lotha (IAS) in his address said that to have an identity in the society, we should always act in a responsible way in whatever we do. He called for depth intimate reconciliation and to have feeling of oneness and brotherhood in order to build unity among us.

The function was chaired by Arao Ngullie, prayer of blessing was offered by Rev Tsobemo Ngullie, while vote of thanks was proposed by M Zubenthung Mozhui. The general conference was attended by clan members (Ezonmontsu-Rui) from all over the State.
