34 isolation centers for COVID-19 in Nagaland

Nagaland has 34 isolation centers at present across the state, having a total of 279 isolation beds.

 


In Kohima the centers are located at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (20 isolation beds), Jakhama Military Hospital (6 isolation beds) and Prisoners ward, Kohima (10 isolation beds).

 


In Dimapur, they are at the CIHSR (10 isolation beds), Assam Rifles Composite Hospital (20 isolation beds) and Military Hospital Rangapahar (10 isolation beds).

 

The centers for the other districts include: Mokokchung (28 isolation beds), Tuensang(10 isolation beds), Mon (4 isolation beds), Longleng (5 isolation beds), Zunheboto(50 isolation beds), Wokha(50 isolation beds), Peren(3 isolation beds), Phek(15 isolation beds) and Kiphire(38 isolation beds).

 

43 quarantine facilities across Nagaland


According to a report from the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), Department of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland as on April 6, there are 43 quarantine facilities across Nagaland with a total of 1264 beds.

 


The district wise break up of beds include: Kohima-130, Dimapur- 222, Mokokchung- 97, Mon- 80, Phek- 61, Wokha- 60, Kiphire- 31, Peren- 50, Longleng- 50, Zunheboto- 33 and Tuensang- 450.

 


Further, there are 84 government and 52 private ambulance services in Nagaland as on April 6.
