4th Phase NISHTHA training begins in Kiphire
NISHTHA training for government teachers underway in Kiphire.
Kiphire, March 16 (MExN): The fourth and final phase of NISHTHA training for government teachers under Kiphire district started at Government Higher Secondary School Kiphire on March 16. The five-day training will conclude on March 20.
During the inaugural programme, District Education Officer (DEO) Kiphire, Deenabandhu Panda said that the government of India has introduced nationwide training for the teachers in order to facelift and improve the standard of government schools in the country. He asked the teachers to be more sincere in the training so as to disseminate accurate knowledge to the students in the school with this training. He also warned that strong actions would be initiated to the irregular teachers, if found.
The DEO also highlighted some awareness points on Corona virus and asked the teachers to give proper awareness in their respective schools and asked them to maintain hygienic living.
Keynote address was delivered by key resource person, Lirila Sangtam. She explained in brief about the mode of training and highlighted the objectives of NISHTHA training. She also declared that, out of 17000 teachers undergoing training in the state, Kiphire has 774 teachers training under NISHTHA.
