Tuensang, February 8 (MExN): The 57th General Session organized by Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU) concluded on February 5 at Loyem Memorial Ground, Tuensang.
The programme was chaired by N Sipong Chila Chang while invocation was spoken by Cheming, Pastor, JBL.
Short speeches were delivered by presidents of CTS and TVCU. A new team of CCSU was nominated which was read out by the Convener of the nominating committee.
Rev Achu Chang, Executive Secretary, CBLT blessed the new team with a prayer. Bamet Changshou, Speaker, CCSU delivered a farewell speech, while vote of thanks was delivered by Vice President, CCSU.
The closing ceremony was led by the Chang Students’ Union, Dimapur with a prayer from Rev H Sangkap, pastor, TTBL.
The new team will be led by Chingmak Kumchuba (Taknyu) as President; C Pongsu (Longra) as Vice President, Ebou Naset (Chingmei) as General Secretary along with nine other members. In the Federal Assembly, W Bupen Mongko (Tuensang Village) was appointed the Speaker, Deputy Speaker – H Lachumong (Chingmelen) and Assembly Secretary – C Mongko Chollen (Waoshu).
