•-Though many joined in support of Anna Hazare to campaign against corruption by fasting and taking part in various campaigns in the city and in many parts of India, there is another section of people (read idiots) who were glued to the Idiot Box (the television) watching the fourth season of Indian Premier League (IPL), caring less for India’s future that has been massacred by the demons of corruption.
Today India is divided between the activists and the idiots. The activists stand firm during difficult situations and will take part in fasting and be in solidarity with other activists but the idiots are contented in their own world of empty dreams. It is clearly witnessed when the Indians join hands in solidarity with activists Anna Hazare, who protested against the increasing number of corrupt activities and was demanding for the Jan Lokpal Bill fought for justice, the idiots cheered for the IPL team that had no national backing and which belonged neither to any state or nation.
The activists fought for justice for the people of the nation that we do not get trapped not just on the higher level but at all levels but the idiots have closed their eyes to deteriorating situation of the nation to be contented by themselves like those three monkeys who do not want to hear the truth, voice against the evil of the society or have shut their eyes to what’s happening in the country.
It is time that we need to look and examine ourselves whether we are those activists or Idiots. It is time that the Indians realize the need to stand up against the evils of the society like corruption and prove ourselves to be true Indians and not just stupid Idiots.
