Dimapur, August 20 (MExN): The All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers’ Union is calling off its agitations after the state government assured to complete the “process of service regularization” of the ad-hoc teachers. The union has decided to suspend the “indefinite peaceful agitation” during an emergency meeting on August 19, the union informed in a note today. ‘…the government has assured the union that the process for service regularization of the ad-hoc teachers who had been qualified in suitability test in 2010 would be completed n one-month time,’ the union said. The union expresses “full hope” that the government “would never disappoint the genuine ad-hoc teachers again by failing to keep its word.”
