Dimapur, June 1 (MExN): Observing the deepening leadership crisis in the Naga National Council (NNC), former chief of the “Naga army” Thenoselie M Keyho today appealed to the vice president and general secretary of the NNC to adhere to the advisory issued by the senior members to ‘overcome the impasse.’ T M Keyho said in a note today that the crisis in the NNC since last one year had led to five senior members of NNC issuing an ‘Advisory Note’ on April 24, 2011. The advisory note had stated that “Dr. Senka Yaden may be requested to resign gracefully and let his Vice President Mr. Kiumukam Yimchungrü carry on till his term expires or that the whole NNC is reorganized and reactivated on a broad base by the Naga people.”
