•-There were 2 (two) circular road leading to Lower Forest Colony earlier, one from Fren Wood School side another from Stella Higher Secondary School. However, the circular road from Stella side was completely cut off for many years due to sudden stiff drop of land across the road caused by sinking just above the present Govt. Primary School.
Many VIPs visited the site in the past and assured the colony people to take up the construction works but assurances remains only in dreams. It was thoughtful of our dynamic leader Dr. Nicky Kire who after visiting the spot and seeing the needs and hardship being faced by the people particularly residents of the Lower Forest Colony, immediately took up the matter and provided fund for construction of Culvert.
The construction of Pucca CC Culvert Structure has been completed and after filling and leveling of the road with huge quantity of spoil soils by the colony people who took up the works with limited amount provided, has now made the road plyable for light Vehicles. I on behalf of the Agri-Electrical-Forest Council expressed our heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble MLA Dr. Nicky Kire for fulfilling long felt needs of colony people. We pray to our Almighty God for his good health and long life so that he will continue to serve the people in the years to come.
