AKM appreciate works of Rev.Dr.Wati Aier

•-The Ao Student Conference (AKM) would like to take this opportunity along with all the rest of the Naga societies in congratulating Rev.Dr.Wati Aier, Principal of Oriental Theological Seminary, Dimapur and the Convener of Forum for Naga Reconciliation on being awarded the prestigious 2011 Baptist World Alliance (BWA) Denton and Janice Lotz Human Rights Award at the General Council of the Baptist World Alliance (BWA) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 4-9.
A man of exemplary courage and dedication who sowed the seed of Reconciliation thus sprouts its shoot in signing the ‘Covenant of Reconciliation’ a common hope for the Nagas. AKM look upon the works of FNR with anticipation and courage that it will bring a tangible solution in our Naga society.
AKM also called upon all the National workers who have in their deepest heart thirst for a better Naga homeland; to shunt violence and recommit oneself to the motto – ‘Nagaland for Christ’.
AKM lastly lauded the Baptist World Alliance (BWA) for taking up the Naga reconciliation process and struggle for sovereignty as a fervent mission and also thanked in bestowing Rev.Dr.Wati Aier with Denton and Janice Lotz Human Rights Award, 2011.
