Acknowledges those in the frontlines
MOKOKCHUNG, MARCH 27 (MExN): The Ao Students' Conference (AKM) has called upon all citizen to cooperate with government directives, understanding the prevailing situation.
A press release from the AKM stated: “with all these challenges surrounding us, we could survive if we join our hands together and listen to the voice of the government and authority.” It urged student to be industrious in their studies and not to be swayed away by holiday moods. “It is time to be more meticulous that the coming days will reap in success in our academic endeavour,” the AKM added.
It affirmed the AKM would keep its door wide open and is willing to serve in any manner in cooperation with state government directive and order. In this, the AKM urged all officials, especially those in outposts to be in their designated posting places.
The AKM meanwhile acknowledged the sincere effort of the state government and district administration to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“The initiative of the government for the welfare of the people is indeed magnanimous. With round the clock, medical team monitoring the situation from the state capital to far flung villages is indeed deserving of praise from every citizen. Your noble service rendered to the people of the state will be never be forgotten. Active participation from District administration, Nagaland Police, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority and the entire departments, NGOs and Civil Society Organization for such a dignifying sacrifice and service rendered towards the community is worth praising,” it added.
